2013 Conference - Annual Government Business Conference

18 - 19 July, 2013

Location: Surfers Paradise

The Australian Government Leadership Network Queensland presented its Annual Government Business Conference, focusing on collaboration within and across Federal, State and Local Government levels.

The 2013 conference built on the successful 2012 conference series which considered "Thinking Outside the Square - New Approaches in Tight Times" . "Public Sector - Future Change and Challenge" will explore the future environment, the future citizen and the future public servant.

The Australian Government Leadership Network - Queensland held its 10th annual Excellence Awards on Thursday 18 July at the Crowne Plaza. The night was a huge success with many finalists attending the Conference Dinner followed by the announcements of the Award Winners.

The Australian Government Leadership Network Queensland is proud to present its 23rd Annual Government Business Conference, focusing on collaboration within and across Federal, State and Local Government levels.

Recent weather events have touched the lives of many Queenslanders, and brought the very best qualities of the Queensland character. Queenslander's generosity, determination, and resilience provide a sound basis for the way we go about building communities across the State.

Our Conference theme was 'Bulding Communities' - what can public servants and their Agencies do to enhance our contribution to the capacity-building of local communities? As usual, we have an exciting and stimulating array of speakers who will bring their own perspectives on the topic.

22nd Annual Government Business Conference

The Conference was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on the Gold Coast during 29-30 July 2010. The theme was Getting It Together.
